About the Journal
A peer-reviewed scientific journal published semiannually by the Faculty of Arts – Al Khums, at Elmergib University. The journal is dedicated to publishing original research and scholarly studies in the fields of the humanities. It is issued electronically through the university’s website and was established by a decision of the President of Elmergib University in 2001. It is registered with the National Book House in Benghazi under legal deposit number (55/2021). The first issue was published in July 2001.
As part of the journal’s development and the enhancement of its institutional identity, its name was changed to Elmergib Journal of Human Sciences, pursuant to University Council Decision No. 17 of 2025. The journal aspires to be among the leading scientific periodicals at the local, regional, and international levels and is managed by a distinguished group of faculty members from various academic disciplines.
