يمكن القول إن الأزمة الليبية زادت حدة وتعقيداً منذ 2011م، نتيجة النزاعات والتدخلات الخارجية مما فتح هذا فتح الباب لصراع طويل ومعقد، حيث تداخلت الأسباب الداخلية والخارجية في صناعة الأزمة في ليبيا.
فداخلياً أدت النزاعات السياسية المختلفة المتواجدة في المشهد والمراحل النتقالية في نظام الحكم إلى تفكيك الدولة، حول مسالة استقرار ليبيا من عدمه والصراعات حول التواجد والهيمنة على الملف الليبي جعل الأزمة معقدة.
بحيث يصعب حلها دون توافق داخلي وإرادة دولية لوقف التدخلات.
