1. Definition
This policy regulates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies in the preparation of research manuscripts submitted to Al-Marqab Journal of Humanities, ensuring academic integrity and scientific transparency.
2. Scope of Application
This policy applies to all authors, reviewers, and editorial board members. It covers the use of AI tools in:
•    Writing or editing text 
•    Data analysis 
•    Translation or summarization 
•    Generating images or illustrations 
3. Acceptable Use
The use of AI tools is permitted within the following limits:
•    Linguistic assistance (spell-checking, grammar correction, and improving wording) 
•    Organizing ideas or providing preliminary summaries 
•    Supporting data analysis, provided that results are verified 
The author remains fully responsible for the final content.
4. Unacceptable Use
The following practices are prohibited:
•    Submitting text fully generated by AI without human scientific review 
•    Including unverified or non-reliable information 
•    Using AI for plagiarism or data fabrication 
•    Listing AI tools as co-authors of the research 
5. Disclosure and Transparency
Authors must:
•    Disclose the use of AI tools in a designated section (Acknowledgment or Methodology) 
•    Specify the type of tool used and its purpose 
•    Confirm that all outputs have been reviewed and verified 
Suggested Disclosure Statement:
"An AI tool was used to assist with language editing and improving the writing. The author has reviewed and verified all content."
6. Scientific Responsibility
•    The author bears full responsibility for the accuracy of information and analysis 
•    The journal is not responsible for errors resulting from the use of AI tools 
•    Authors must adhere to academic integrity and research ethics 
7. Role of Reviewers and Editorial Board
•    The editorial board may use tools to detect AI-generated content 
•    Additional clarifications may be requested from authors بشأن AI usage 
•    Manuscripts may be rejected in cases of non-disclosure or misuse 
8. Intellectual Property and Copyright
•    The use of AI must not violate the intellectual property rights of others 
•    Authors are responsible for any legal violations resulting from such use
